What is Your Theological Worldview?

You scored as Emergent/Postmodern. You are Emergent/Postmodern in your theology. You feel alienated from older forms of church, you don't think they connect to modern culture very well. No one knows the whole truth about God, and we have much to learn from each other, and so learning takes place in dialogue. Evangelism should take place in relationships rather than through crusades and altar-calls. People are interested in spirituality and want to ask questions, so the church should help them to do this.

Emergent/Postmodern - 75%
Evangelical Holiness/Wesleyan - 68%
Neo orthodox - 68%
Roman Catholic - 61%
Reformed Evangelical - 50%
Classical Liberal - 46%
Charismatic/Pentecostal - 43%
Modern Liberal - 36%
Fundamentalist - 21%

  • I score a tie between Evangelical Holiness/Wesleyan and Neo-Orthodox. I don't mind the Neo-Orthodox part, but Wesleyan? Influenced heavily by John Wesley and the Methodists? AAAAAAUUUUGHHH! I'm SUPPOSED to be Lutheran!

But wait. The explanation says "You believe that God's grace enables you to choose to believe in him, even though you yourself are totally depraved." That sounds more Calvinist than Arminian. It also sounds Lutheran, even tho Lutherans don't use the phrase "totally depraved" and tho they believe they're totally depraved coram Deo but not coram hominibus. I wish I knew what the quizmaker wrote about the neo-orthodox.

In the "Which theologian are you?" quiz I scored as John Calvin.
